Dr. Kelly Miller

Veterinarian

Dr. Kelly Miller graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been a veterinarian in the Wichita area since graduation, and joined Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2014. Kelly enjoys working with dogs and cats, as well as exotic companion mammals. She has a mixed breed dog, “Sydney”, two cats, “Rico” and “ Inara”, and two Guinea Pigs , “Smudge” and “Auzzie”. In her free time, Kelly enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Cori Hough

Veterinarian

Dr. Cori Hough started out shadowing at Rainbow Valley in 2015 and worked as an assistant/technician until leaving for college in 2017. She graduated from the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and rejoined the RVVC family that summer. Cori enjoys getting to know her clients while providing quality care for their pets. She has a mixed breed dog named “Duke” who loves being a couch potato. During her spare time, Cori enjoys being outdoors, watching sports on TV, drawing, and spending time with her family.

Susan Moushey

Office Manager

Susan is originally from Illinois (Go Illini), but has lived in Derby since 2006. Susan and her husband, Patrick have 2 children, a son-in-law and a beautiful grandchild. They have a “foster fail” Chihuahua mix, Coal. In her off time, she likes to read, be outdoors, watch sports on tv and spend time with her family and friends.

Cindy Taylor

Customer Care Specialist

Cindy started working at Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in October of 2006. She works as a Customer Care Specialist / assistant. Cindy and her husband Jason live in Derby. They have two children Gage and Dakota. Their family dog is “Lola Bean” (seen here). Cindy enjoys traveling to tropical beaches, going to the lake, reading, and going to movies.

Mollie Walker

Registered Veterinary Technician

Mollie started out shadowing at Rainbow Valley when her parents became clients in 2015. She joined the team in February 2020 and graduated from WSU Tech in May 2020. She married her husband, Rhett, in 2023 and now has a whole group of critters at home. She has 3 dogs (Cinnamon, Bean, and Hemi), as well as 5 cats (Kitty, Nacho, Malakai, Gabriel, and Socks). In her free time she enjoys cooking, sewing, thrifting and going to antique malls.

Emily Wilton

Registered Veterinary Technician

Emily is a Kansas native but moved to Tulsa, OK to go to Vet Tech school. She graduated in 2018 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician. She moved back to Wichita and worked for a few years exclusively with cats (her true passion). She joined the Rainbow Valley family in December of 2023. She has 3 fur babies... all cats. In her spare time, she loves to read, spend time with her parents and play trivia.

Katie Jorn

Katie Jorn

Veterinary Technician

Katie was born and raised in Derby. She has a huge heart for every pet she meets. She started shadowing at Rainbow Valley in the summer of 2020, and started working as a veterinary assistant/technician shortly after. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State in 2021 and is currently in the Veterinary Technician program at WSU Tech, set to be done in December of 2024. She has 2 dogs (Cocoa and Lucy), 2 cats (Churro and Chimichanga), a Betta fish (Donny) and she co-parent’s our clinic Betta, Chip. In her free time Katie enjoys playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and family, and watching reality tv shows.

Justine Law

Veterinary Technician

Justine started out shadowing at Rainbow Valley before entering the Vet Tech program at WSU Tech. She started working at Rainbow Valley in 2019 as technician assistant. She graduated from WSU Tech 2023. She has 2 chinchillas (Chin Franklin & Jackie Chin),1 dog (pitty mix named Kipper), 3 box turtles, as well as 4 hermit crabs. Halloween is her favorite holiday. During her free time, she enjoys several crafts such as jewelry making resin, sewing, painting, metal stamping and much more.

Jan Burrows

Tech Assistant

Jan & her husband Jack have lived in Derby since 1984. Jan has worked for Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic since 1995 as a Receptionist / Assistant. Jan has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named “Stone”. Jan enjoys being able to offer clients the information & reassurances they need for their pets. Jan enjoys art, reading, & playing with her dog.

Rachel Hutchins

Tech Assistant

Rachel is originally from Texas and moved to Kansas for college where she remained when meeting her partner, Brandon. She has a passion for all aspects of large and small animal care, but especially participating in compassionate veterinary medicine.
Rachel lives with Brandon and her lab, Wanda and enjoys hiking, riding horses, camping, and exploring new places with family and friends.

Colby Morgan

Tech Assistant

Colby has always had a passion for animals. He was born and raised in Derby. He graduated from Derby high school in 2024. Colby started working at Rainbow Valley in June 2023 as a tech assistant. He has two dogs Zoey who is a German Shepherd mix and Shiloh who is a Walker Tree Coonhound. He plans on attending Kansas State University with aspirations of becoming a veterinarian. In his spare time he loves to play sports, hang out with friends and family, and play video games

Chelsea Kerby

Customer Care

Chelsea started working in the veterinary world in 2019. She joined the Rainbow Valley family in February of 2023. She connects with every pet that comes through our doors and truly loves them all. She has two pets of her own: “Donut” is a Chihuahua who was adopted through a local rescue group, and “Leo” is a long haired solid grey cat who was adopted from the Kansas Humane Society. She is also co-parent of “Chip” which is the clinic betta fish. Some of Chelsea’s interests are music, true crime podcasts, reading, and shopping. Chelsea has been married to Jordan since 2015 and has a step son named Jace.

Nicole McDonald

Customer Care

Nicole is originally from Okinawa, Japan (grew up as an Air Force brat). She has lived in Derby sine 2005. Nicole has always had a big heart to care and share for anyone in need, animal or human. Nicole worked as an EMT after receiving her education from Cowley County Community College. She worked in retail while on the path of becoming an RN. But, when she stumbled upon an opportunity to work with animals, she entered the veterinary world in 2020. She joined the Rainbow Valley Family in 2024. She has a Pom-chi named Elsie. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crafting and running.
