Dr. David M. Drake

Dr. David Drake is a 1983 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Drake founded Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1989. The clinic has provided quality small animal health care to Derby and the surrounding areas for more than 20 years. Dr. Drake and his wife Krista live in Derby and have three children Todd, Ty & Taylor. The Drakes also have a Vizsla named “REMINGTON”. Dr. Drake enjoys hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities.

Dr. Kelly Miller

Dr. Kelly Miller graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She has been a veterinarian in the Wichita area since graduation, and joined Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2014. Kelly enjoys working with dogs and cats, as well as exotic companion mammals. She has a mixed breed dog, “Sydney”, two cats, “Rico” and “ Inara”, and two Guinea Pigs , “Smudge” and “Auzzie”. In her free time, Kelly enjoys crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Janet Arnet

Dr. Janet Arnet graduated from the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. She practiced in Wichita until recently joining Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic. She loves working with small animals, and especially getting to know their owners. Janet and her family live outside Derby with their horses (Tempi and Banjo), chickens, duck (Aflac) and several barn cats (Pita, Spud, Bumper and Zoidberg). They spend their time hunting, fishing and riding the horses.

Jan Burrows

Jan & her husband Jack have lived in Derby since 1984. Jan has worked for Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic since 1995 as a Receptionist / Assistant. Jan has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named “Hitch”. Jan enjoys being able to offer clients the information & reassurances they need for their pets. Jan enjoys art, reading, & playing with her dogs.

Keeley Bowhay

Keeley joined the Rainbow Valley Veterinary kennel staff in the spring of 2014. She graduated from Derby High School in the class of 2015. After spending a year in Colorado, she came back to Derby and rejoined the Rainbow Valley staff, only this time as a receptionists / assistant. She has 2 cats, “Snickers” and “ Aspen” and a Labrador Retriever, “Kimber” . Keeley enjoys the outdoors, crafting, and spending time with her family.

Cindy Taylor

Cindy started working at Rainbow Valley Veterinary Clinic in October of 2006. She works as a receptionist / assistant. Cindy and her husband Jason live in Derby They have two children Gage and Dakota. Their family dog is “Lola” (seen here). Cindy enjoys going to the lake, taking cruises with her family, reading, and going to movies.

Susan Moushey

Susan is originally from Illinois, but has lived in Derby since 2000. She has 2 children Kaitlyn & Colton with husband Patrick. They have a German Shepherd mix named “Jovie” and a Chihuahua named “Cole”. In her off time she likes to read, be outdoors, watch sports on TV and spend time with her family.

Heidi Lindenmuth

Raif Morgan

Raif attends school at Derby High School and will graduate with the class of 2021. He is planning to attend college. Currently he is leaning toward Kansas University due to his desire to be in the medical field. Raif enjoys music and playing music on his guitar. His favorite part about working at Rainbow Valley is learning how to care for animals and learning different work related responsibilities.

Nolynn Abshire

Nolynn recently graduated from Derby High School in the class of 2020. She graduated with rainbow cords from NAHS, and her 3rd year biomedical coat. She is planning to go to Wichita Technical Institute to be a Lab Technician, and then furthering her education either at an in state college or out of state. She enjoys drawing, painting and listening to music. She has 5 pets currently. Two bearded dragons and three dogs. A Boxer mix and a Siberian husky mix and a Pitbull puppy.
